This little guy is such a sweetheart. This photo just called out to me for black and white. I can't decide which one I like best! Which one is your favorite??

And the littlest one of the family! She's such a doll. I showed this photo to my coworker and she said "So cute!! Oh the camera loves her!!" And I just HAVE to agree!! And her eyes! I wonder what this one would look like in black and white?! I think they'd just pop! Maybe you'll see that up on the blog next!

I was so so SO excited to be a part of this reunion. In fact I was excited months before it even happened. Aimee hired me at least four months before her husband was scheduled to come home from his deployment. We chatted and planned, shared her sadness when a week before his return date they gave word that they might just extend their leave to a new location without returning home first, and then got super, SUPER pumped up when JUST KIDDING THEY'RE COMING HOME ON SCHEDULE! We had ourselves a great time the night before, trying to forget about how anxious she was. It was like we were going to Disneyland the next day! But BETTER!

And then... the time came and we waited in the parking lot. And waited. And waited. And finally the soldiers showed up, marched in, and ran to their loved ones. And here's what happened when these two love birds caught a glimpse of each other...

I just had to throw up some more of the film shots. They're just so sweet. I may be biased because Danielle is one of my oldest and best friends but I think these two are just adorable.

Have I told you how I love everything about film?
Ok but have I told you how I love everything about this sweet couple?
We always joke about their big features: big eyes, big mouths, big dimples.
The better to eat you with!
HAHA!
But seriously - how beautifully photogenic are those features?!

Danielle had a few shots in mind she absolutely had to have and this was one of them. She definitely has an eye for great shots! Maybe I'll hire her as my assistant! That smile of hers and their matching dimples definitely don't hurt the shot.
